CNC TURNER

Duties:

  • Set up and operate CNC turning machines to produce small precision parts according to specifications
  • Programming, Setting up and Operating CNC Turning Machines,
  • Turners with experience in Turning small parts, they must be competent at looking at a drawings and programming(conversational), so that includes DMG MORI, HURCO, etc.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements
  • Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and tooling for each job
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary
  • Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy, using precision measuring instruments
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area

Experience:

  • Precision CNC Turning - Programmer, Setter Operator
  • CNC Turners, important - full experience on CNC Turning Machining Centres, in particular - NLX 2500-700 and NLX 2000-500.
  • Experience of producing Small Precision parts with tolerances to 0.005.
