Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC turning machines to produce small precision parts according to specifications
- Programming, Setting up and Operating CNC Turning Machines,
- Turners with experience in Turning small parts, they must be competent at looking at a drawings and programming(conversational), so that includes DMG MORI, HURCO, etc.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and tooling for each job
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy, using precision measuring instruments
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
Experience:
- Precision CNC Turning - Programmer, Setter Operator
- CNC Turners, important - full experience on CNC Turning Machining Centres, in particular - NLX 2500-700 and NLX 2000-500.
- Experience of producing Small Precision parts with tolerances to 0.005.
