Your new role
You will be joining an exciting team looking to grow quickly working on exciting projects such as specialist equipment, district heat programme, BSDF and supplier work. The role is very technical and hands-on. It requires someone who can write reports and energy contracts with the goal of decreasing expenditure, striving towards net-zero and decreasing greenhouse gases meeting the government targets.
A large portion of the role will be very reactive, helping solve the current energy bill within the organisation. You will be doing a lot of work around specialist machines, diagnostic equipment and a £37m de-car scheme including heat pumps and solar energy.
What you'll need to succeed
If you are an experienced energy manager looking for the next step in your career, to be a part of a growing team within the public sector, I'd like to hear from you.You will be an organised individual able to respond to reactive issues and have good knowledge of areas such as metering and monitoring greenhouse gases and experience with scope 1,2 and 3.
What you'll get in return
