Inside Sales Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity to join a well established local form with global reach.

Your main duty will be to support the Sales team, with the full order cycle from quotation through to product dispatch.

Hybrid available after training period with hours of 9am - 5pm (flexibility is possible)

Your responsibilities:

  • intake of customer enquiries
  • prepare and issue quotations
  • review Purchase Orders vs Quotations, check dispatch details and resolve any discrepancies
  • update system with relevant information for delivery
  • obtain forecasts from customers
  • monitor customer satisfaction levels
  • obtain market/competitor intelligence
  • liaise with freight companies, production staff and sales colleagues to gather and present information

You will need:

  • experience in Sales Administration
  • strong customer service and administration skills
  • experience in working in a company selling engineering products (desirable)
  • if you can speak Germans, French or Italian then this is an added bonus!
