As the Trainer your key responsibilities will include:

  • Interviewing, Enrolment, and Induction: Participate in the interviewing, enrolment, and induction processes for students.
  • Teaching and Learning: Provide effective teaching and learning in various environments as required - full teacher training provided!
  • Preparation of Learning Materials: Prepare schemes of learning, lesson plans, and assessment plans.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Offer ongoing assessment and feedback by setting and marking relevant coursework.
  • Student Support: Provide appropriate academic and/or vocational support to individual students, referring them to other agencies when necessary.
  • Student Enrichment and Pastoral Care: Contribute to the wider enrichment of students and support their pastoral needs.
  • Accreditation and Assessments: Prepare learners for various accreditation and assessments.
  • Student Records: Maintain accurate and detailed student records, including writing reports and references.
  • Personal Targets: Set and monitor personal targets and electronic Individual Learning Plans.
  • Marketing and Events: Participate in open evenings, parents' evenings, recruitment, trade events, conferences, and other marketing events.

Qualifications and Experience needed for the Trainer role:

  • Relevant experience or professional qualification.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
