Locum Senior Property Lawyer – South West – up to £55 per hour – Hybrid or Remote Working
Venn Group's specialist public sector legal division has partnered with a Local Authority based in the South West which is looking to appoint a Property Lawyer on a locum basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Lawyer (Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of CILEx) to join a small but friendly Local Authority team. The successful candidate will become an integral part of the Property department.
Duties and responsibilities may include:
- Overseeing all aspects of commercial property matters related to asset portfolio management
- Managing and advising on the development, sale, lease, and other transactions involving public sector land holdings
- Providing expert advice on all aspects of local authority land transactions
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and governance standards
- Offering strategic and practical advice to clients on property matters
- Developing effective solutions to complex property issues, ensuring client needs are met efficiently
This position is offered for an initial term of 9 months, An hourly umbrella rate of between £50-£55 DOE is offered for this role.
