The Role:
As our Delivery Driver Part-Time, you will be responsible for delivering letters to customers within Walthamstow.
Your duties will be:
- Delivering letters to customers within a designated area (Walthamstow)
- Ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries made
- Maintaining a clean and organised delivery vehicle
- Following all traffic and safety regulations
- Communicating with the dispatch team for route optimisation
- Reporting any delivery discrepancies or issues to the supervisor
- Providing excellent customer service during deliveries
Working hours will be Monday-Wednesday-Friday, 08:00 am to 13:00 pm, and flexibility with working hours is essential as overtime will be required from time to time.
The Candidate:
To be considered for our Delivery Driver Part-Time role, you will have the following skills and experience:
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver's license for the correct class of vehicle
- A reliable, taxed, MOT and ensured mode of transportation (moped or motorcycle)
- It is a requirement that a valid full clean driving licence is maintained.
- Must have a good driving record which will be confirmed via DVLA
- Previous experience as a delivery driver
Skills/Knowledge:
- Must have excellent time management skills
- Must have a professional and friendly demeanour
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- The ability to establish and maintain effective, professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
