Based in London, this pivotal role will see you work alongside our Global Head of Finance to ensure the smooth functioning of financial operations, while maintaining robust financial controls and accurate accounting records.
My client is a leading global Charity based in central London seeking a Financial Accountant to bolster their team on a permanent basis.
The main responsibilities of the Financial Accountant are:
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate and up-to-date records of transactions.
- Complete monthly cash flow forecasts and assist in statutory account preparation.
- Ensuring inter-company accounts are reconciled along with balance sheet accounts.
- Timely and accurate posting of bank account transactions.
- Produce timely and accurate consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant statutes.
- Management of 1 direct report in Accounts Payable.
My client is looking for:
- Excellent knowledge of balance sheet control and reconciliation function.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments and stakeholders.
- A safe pair of hands who can pick up the role quicky.
- Experience of working in the charity sector is essential.
- Experience with multi currency accounting is highly desirable.
My client can offer a flexible approach to working, with fully remote working, there is a requirement to go into the office once every couple of months to collect the post.
