We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to lead and inspire the girls' physical education program at our school. This permanent, full-time position is an excellent opportunity for a professional who is passionate about promoting health, fitness, and sportsmanship among students.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality physical education lessons to girls across a range of ages and abilities.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for all students to learn and excel in physical activities.
- Assess and record student progress, providing feedback to encourage and motivate.
- Organise and coordinate sports events, competitions, and extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education with other school programs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum and developments in the field of physical education.
- Act as a role model, promoting a healthy lifestyle and demonstrating professionalism and sportsmanship.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Recognised teaching qualification in physical education.
- Experience in teaching PE to girls at various levels.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Commitment to professional development and learning.
- Knowledge of current PE curriculum and teaching methods.
