We are looking for a Liaison Manager to play a critical role in managing and enhancing relationships with key stakeholders, including transplant centres, Collection Centres, medical professionals, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and proactive individual who can effectively communicate our mission, identify opportunities for collaboration, and help ensure every patient has access to a suitable donor.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Establish and maintain contact with transplant clinics, registries, and search units, including identifying decision-makers and key personnel.
- Develop concepts to improve processes and enhance quality based on acquired knowledge.
- Support transplant clinics with family typing for international family donors and organisation of stem cell donations.
- Advise international patients and create, coordinate, and dispatch newsletters and announcements to partners.
- Prepare and conduct clinic visits, assess the needs of respective partners, and build relationships with key contacts.
- Independently research information on collection centres and maintain contacts.
- Update contact details of collection centres in the database.
- Support in drafting contracts with collection centres to ensure requirements are complete and processes are up-to-date and of high quality.
- Prepare and accompany audits of collection centres.
- Create evaluations, compare developments, and make them available internally.
- Share experiences and information with internal specialist departments and colleagues.
- Ensure that processes for supporting collection centres are adhered to internally.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., healthcare, life sciences) or equivalent experience.
- More than 3 years' experience in stakeholder management, healthcare coordination, or a related field.
- Experience in the non-profit sector or with a healthcare organisation is highly desirable.
- Excellent project management and presentation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to travel as required.
