Rate: £600.00 Per Day - Inside IR35 via Umbrella

A highly accomplished, IT Project Manager with an extensive IT infrastructure background is required for our leading financial services client, to work on a Datacentre Exit program of work.

Essential experience:

  • Extensive IT Infrastructure Project Management expertise including datacentre
  • Proven track record of successfully managing infrastructure projects in flight and from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Strong Financial Services sector experience
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies including networking, datacentre servers, storage, cloud computing, and virtualisation
  • Communication and Reporting: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in preparing detailed project reports, presentations, and documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Strong financial acumen with experience in creating and managing project budgets, forecasting costs, and optimising resource allocation to achieve project goals
  • Risk Management: Expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks, ensuring minimal disruption and swift issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle
  • Team Leadership: Proven experience in leading and motivating cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Adept at engaging with and managing expectations of stakeholders at all levels, from C-suite executives to project team members
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of successfully resolving project issues and challenges
  • Quality Assurance: Proficient in establishing and maintaining quality assurance processes, ensuring that infrastructure projects meet or exceed technical specifications and client expectations
