A leading manufacturing company in Sunderland is seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in financial operations, reporting directly to the Financial Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate and timely management accounts with detailed commentary
- Participate in costing, stock management, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with SOX regulations
- Support the implementation of new forecasting systems and SAP upgrades
- Provide mentorship to assistant accountants
Qualifications and Experience:
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or part-qualified
- SAP experience
- Proven track record in costing
- SOX compliance (A bonus)
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
- Part of plant incentive (~£1500 per annum, paid quarterly)
