are working with our fantastic client within the Public Services sector, they are looking for an

HR Manager

to join the team either based near the Amesbury (Wiltshire) or the Swindon Office.

About the role

To provide a full range of HR support to the group. This role is responsible for aligning objectives with employees and leaders in various locations, alongside this, you will be responsible for implementing new HR systems and data analysis for the Group.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Act as the data analyst for the HR team, taking ownership of the HR data manipulation and reporting
  • Support to streamline processes and help to manage HR & payroll systems
  • Consult with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate
  • Providing an effective support service to end users
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions)
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation
  • Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers
  • Provide guidance and input on restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
  • Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success and follow up to ensure training objectives are met
  • Management of the HR Support Team

About you

:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organisational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and employment laws
  • Level 5 CIPD
  • Experience of data entry using HR Information Systems
  • Experience of implementing new HR software
  • Knowledge of HR systems and software
  • Knowledge of HR data auditing and cleansing
  • Willingness to complete training including safeguarding and GDPR training.
  • Must be able to pass DBS checks

This is a full time role working Monday to Friday 37 hours a week, offering

a £45,500 - £51,500

plus great benefits including 31 days holiday + bank holidays.
