We are working with a small independent high school in Rochdale who offer education to children aged 5-16 with significant social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
They are looking for a English Tutor to join them helping students in intervention classes for English key stage 3 & 4 from September 2024, on an ongoing basis, likely to be for the full academic year on a full-time basis.
You will be required to become fully immersed in the department, attend departmental meetings. As well as helping students in small groups to progress their English ability, this may also include helping in lessons themselves. You may have to adapt your teaching to the students in front of you by helping them understand difficult aspects of English.
