Management Accountant | £20 – £25 per hour (Umbrella)| Permanent| Merseyside| Housing Association:
Castlefield Recruitment are working with an Housing Association in Merseyside who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to their busy team. The role is offered on an interim basis for an initial 3 months with a strong potential for extension, the role offers hybrid working arrangements.
Duties:
- Providing guidance and advice to senior managers and budget holders
- Responsible for budgeting and assist with year-end arrangements
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare accruals, prepayments, and income journals required to report an accurate financial position
- To assist and provide support with the wider finance teams
Experience:
- Housing Sector experience is highly desirable
- Must be able to use Excel with confidence and able to analyse and manipulate large data sets (previous experience doing so is essential)
- Strong analytical skills and able to evaluate and report financial data
- Part-qualified CCAB/CIPFA/ACCA/CIMA – actively studying
