Halcyon Care Dorset is working alongside a new children's home that is offering an exciting opportunity for the position of a registered home manager who can come in and provide a nurturing and caring environment to children and young people within the 5-bedroom home.

The home is situated in the heart of Poole on the Southwest Coast and offers a qualified and experienced registered home manager the opportunity to make the home their own by implementing key strategies that will ensure that the safety and well-being of the residents are provided for.

Great leadership and teamwork skills are required to ensure that the children can easily transition to their new environment and adapt to the next stage of their environment by providing them with the skills and confidence to live as independently as possible.

As the Home Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day running of the Children's Home, in line with Children's Homes Regulations including the expectations and standards as set out in the home's Statement of Purpose and Ofsted promoting the safeguarding of young people's welfare and ensuring compliance and to participate in the on-call roster in support of the Children's Home.

Essential requirements: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent. A minimum of 3 years in a position relevant to children's residential care (within the last 5 years).

Desirable Skills and Knowledge

Full UK driving license

Pay: £50,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
