Senior Repairs Technician

Role Purpose:

Our client is a global leader in outdoor digital signage solutions, provides smart urban environments with cutting-edge technology. From hardware development to back-end customer services and supports both domestic and international clients. Their proprietary software, Remote Device Management (RDM®), ensures real-time performance monitoring across our screen network, offering 24/7 insights for consistent, high-quality content delivery.

The Senior Repairs Technician will manage the RMA and warranty processes, diagnosing faults, leading the repair/replacement process, and working with a variety of hardware and electronic components. The role also involves writing and updating operational procedures and ensuring adherence to departmental protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Electronic & Electrical Fault Repair

  • Diagnose and repair faults in digital signage, including LCD screens and other components.
  • Conduct initial testing and fault-finding for returned products.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of electronic equipment.
  • Ensure all repairs meet established quality and safety standards.

2. RMA & Warranty Process

  • Manage the full repair and replacement process for returned products.
  • Identify faults and determine appropriate repair or replacement actions.
  • Accurately record and track all returned parts according to company procedures.
  • Document all repair activities, including time taken, in line with internal processes.

3. Operating Procedures

  • Write and update operational procedures, including repair manuals and troubleshooting guides.
  • Ensure documentation is clear, accurate, and accessible to relevant personnel.

4. Team Collaboration

  • Work with team members to ensure prompt repairs and maintain suitable stock levels.
  • Train and support other technicians to maintain high-quality standards.

5. Process Implementation

  • Implement and uphold departmental processes and procedures.
  • Manage test equipment and ensure all tools are updated and in proper working order.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely product availability.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in electronic repairs.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve electronic and electrical faults.

Qualifications:
