Job Advertisement: Graduate Quantity Surveyor- Construction

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Support senior quantity surveyors in managing contracts and project finances.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Help in the preparation of tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.
- Perform cost control and cost reporting during the construction phase.
- Assist in the negotiation of contracts and procurement of materials and services.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project success.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to project costs and progress.
Requirements
- A recent graduate with a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
- Must reside within one hour and 30 minutes' commute to Somerset.
