- **Providing 1-2-1 and small group support to GCSE humanities students.
Requirements:
- At least a bachelor's degree in Geography, History, or R.E.
- Brilliant communication skills.
- A passion for the education of KS3 and KS4 students.
- Drive to improve students' wellbeing and progression.
- A warm, welcoming personality is mandatory, as well as the ability to form strong bonds with young people.
- Previous experience of supporting children, or in a school setting, is advantageous but not mandatory.
The Role
- Assisting teaching staff in the planning and delivering of engaging lessons.
- Assessing classwork and monitoring student progress.
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to students as needed.
- Adapting learning materials to suit the individual needs of each student.
- Creating personalised support strategies for under-achieving students.
- Creating positive relationships with both students and staff.
