Key Responsibilities:
- Design, verify, and test electrical systems, managing requirements and bill of materials throughout the product lifecycle.
- Provide technical support to the team and broader business, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
- Solve complex technical problems using a common-sense approach and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Interface directly with customers, presenting and reviewing technical information as needed.
- Occasionally travel internationally to support customer and supplier meetings.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in electrical system design, particularly within safety-critical environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of electrical product design, development, and testing methodologies.
- Experience managing bill of materials in a complex engineering environment.
- Familiarity with schematic electrical design tools (e.g., Mentor Capital).
- Knowledge of regulatory and safety requirements for safety-critical products, ideally within the aerospace sector.
