Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a production team in the building of electrical/electronic equipment and PCB assembly.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and requirements, continuously improving the working environment.
  • Plan, organise, and coordinate resources to meet production requirements.
  • Investigate and analyse production-related issues, implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address any issues promptly.
  • Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure accuracy and completeness of production documents.
  • Generate key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations for operational excellence.
  • Promote and enforce lean manufacturing processes to maintain safe working environments.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures, both locally and at other production facilities.

Essential Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Degree level education or equivalent in electrical/electronic production industry.
  • Proven track record in implementing continuous improvement programmes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyse data for continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in email and MS Office software, including Project and PowerPoint.

Desirable Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.

Technologies:

  • Proficiency in relevant production software and tools.
