Reed Finance are currently partnered with a successful family run organisation in the Crawley area who are seeking a Finance Manager to join their team. This role is integral to maintaining financial health and supporting the growth of the company. As Finance Manager you'll manage financial reporting, mentor the Finance Assistant, and work closely with the Finance Director to drive success. Flexible hybrid working option after probation.
Day to Day duties of Finance Manager:
- Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, processes, and systems.
- Manage the sales ledger and credit control functions.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and annual reports with insightful analysis.
- Ensure pristine balance sheet reconciliations.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of business performance.
- Liaise with auditors and manage statutory requirements.
- Oversee payroll accounting.
- Mentor and develop the Finance Assistant.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant or equivalent experience.
- Strong technical accounting skills and analytical abilities.
- Excellent prioritisation and multi-tasking capabilities.
- Clear communicator with the ability to explain complex financial concepts simply.
- Proactive problem-solver with a ‘can-do' attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
- At least 2 years of experience in a Finance Manager role.
- Confidence to advise on finance-related matters at all levels.
