Bondgate (WF8)
site. We are a
global independent soft drinks manufacturer
with
78 manufacturing sites
worldwide including
6 sites in the UK.
- £30,695.49pa (Basic £28,527.41 + shift allowance £2,168.08)
- £14.05ph (Basic £13.06ph + shift allowance £0.99p)
- £21.08ph Overtime rates after 42 hours worked
- 3 on 3 off Shift pattern – Rotating Days and Nights – 07:00 to 19:00 & 19:00 to 07:00
- 22 days holiday (264 hours over the year)

As a
Machine Technician
, you will join
the production team
where you will be working on a
production line
and overseeing our
beverage filling machine
- Reporting to the Production Manager you will work as a team to
fulfil the day-to-day production
targets.
Our
Machine Technician
will use their
experience on machines
to ensure our
production operates efficiently
and deliver
outputs
- You will identify any
machine concerns
and liaise with the engineer team on more complex situations. You will oversee production changeovers, cleaning the machine to start a new beverage production,
adjusting machine settings and controls
for optimal performance.
NO MACHINE EXPERIENCE - Don't worry
- .....If you are interested but don't have machine experience, you can still join us. We will provide all the training and get you up to speed in the first 12 months.
Machine Technician: Key responsibilities:
- Operating equipment/machinery and undertaking fault finding, changeovers including CIP where relevant, asset care, and basic machine maintenance activities.
- Management of Raw Materials in accordance with FIFO and Storage Procedures.
- Reporting any non-conformances to Company Policies/Procedures/Standards and supporting corrective action activities.
- Working as a key member of a production team, demonstrating Company Values and flexibility to support other teams/departments where required.
- Ability to meet team performance targets and required Company Standards.
- Participating in traceability exercises, product trials, and site audits/visits
- Supporting the delivery of key performance indicators for the Factory linked to Safety, Quality, People, Delivery, and Cost Standards
Machine Technician: skills & attributes:
- Experience of working Machines within an FMCG environment
- Ability to problem solve, team player & a keen eye for detail.
- Great communicator with a "can do" attitude
