Description
As Assistant Accountant reporting into a Qualified Financial Controller, you will be supporting on the month end management accounts such as fixed asset, journal posting, profit & loss as well as prepayments for example.
Alongside this will be ownership of the ledgers as well as essential day to day transnational duties for example bank reconciliations and invoices. Their is fantastic progression within the company and exposure to new skills to learn more with the role, such as learning about cash flow forecasting and stakeholder management etc.
Profile
- Ideally AAT Level 3 or 4 but not essential, as well as anyone Qualified by Experience.
- Open to ACCA / CIMA studiers including exemptions.
- Preferably experience of one of the following; Balance Sheet reconciliations, Accruals, Prepayments, VAT returns, Fixed Asset or Cash Flow forecasting.
- Can commit to 5 days on site, Monday to Friday.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Can work individually and as part of a wider team.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Excel.
