Location: Tameside
Salary: £32,323.20 - £33,820.80 per year (40 hours per week)
Additional Benefits: On-call allowance, potential monthly commissions based on occupancy levels

About Us: We are a leading provider of supported accommodation for vulnerable children and young people (aged 16/17 years) in the North of England. Our mission is to provide a nurturing and supportive environment that helps young people thrive and transition successfully to adulthood.

Role Overview: As the Supported Accommodation Manager, you will ensure the highest standards of care and support for our young residents. You will lead a dedicated team, manage daily operations, and create a safe, nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring a safe and caring environment.
  • Lead and support the care team, conducting supervisions, probations, and appraisals.
  • Develop and implement tailored support and safety plans.
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews, collaborating with professionals, families, and agencies.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment, promoting empowerment and engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Handle crisis situations effectively, ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed.

Requirements:

  • Diploma Level 3/4 in Children, Young People, and Families Practitioner.
  • Working towards Level 5 in Children, Young People, and Families Manager (or willing to undertake).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in children's social care or supported accommodation.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and committed to improving young people's lives.
  • Organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
