Our client based in Mansfield is looking for a Process Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
Working to create products for mission-critical land, sea, air, and space applications.
The role will be to support production to achieve on time delivery by developing manufacturing processes and overseeing implementation into the manufacturing system.
Job Description:
- Assist in sustaining maximum quality and on time delivery by ensuring manufacturing processes are appropriate, available and documented accordingly.
- Develop prototypes and compile relevant documentation.
- Ensure all new processes and production improvement initiatives are sustained.
- Facilitate continuous improvement activity.
- Day to day support of Cell Technicians through coaching and mentoring.
- Develop the departmental awareness of quality and the cost of poor quality to the organisation.
- Play an integral role in completing corrective action reports for customer rejects.
- Play an integral role in the investigation for root cause of customer returns.
- Play an integral role in the investigation of the corrective actions.
- Play an integral role in the development and investigation of FMEA for process control and evaluation where appropriate.
- Sustain 5s principles.
- Ensure new processes comply with quality and health and safety procedures.
- Attended daily cell and MRB meetings.
- Present and train using PowerPoint presentations.
