Our client is a well-respected Lincoln based company, who are looking to grow their team with an experienced Semi-Senior Practice Accountant.
Responsibilities for Semi Senior Practice Accountant:
- Preparation of accounts for limited companies, sole-traders, and partnerships to draft stage, ready for review.
- Assistance on audit assignments.
- Preparation of corporation tax computations and personal tax computations to draft stage, ready for review.
- Assistance may be required in the bookkeeping and VAT department
Requirements for Semi Senior Practice Accountant position:
- AAT qualified or has suitable experience.
- Strong accounting system knowledge and Excel skills
- Good working knowledge of accounting standards and relevant taxation matters.
- Experience of working on audit assignments desirable
- Ability to prepare year end accounts for companies, sole-traders and partnerships to draft stage
- Ability to accurately bookkeep for clients where necessary, together with experience of preparing VAT returns
