Nutrition Research Scientist

Our Client combines scientific technology and innovation to provide customers with effective high-performance skincare and wellness products expertly formulated, proven in research and in real life.

They are now seeking a Nutrition Research Scientist . This position will be office based in Redditch, Worcestershire with the opportunity of hybrid working. (Three days in the office and two days working at home). The position is a full-time permanent role.

Job Purpose

  • This role will focus on a data driven approach to understanding the effect of clinically validated nutritional supplements on the human form.
  • The Nutrition Research Scientist will play a crucial role in the planning, development, and implementation of lifestyle research studies supporting D2C sales.
  • This position involves collaborating in study design including regulatory compliance, configuring of apps, engaging participants, analysing data and communicating outcomes. The fields of study will support nutrition product launches for our client

Key Responsibilities

  • Research into the unique aspects of each study topic.
  • Design and develop lifestyle studies in collaboration with the nutritionist lead
  • Collate and present evidence-based content for internal and external review.
  • Collaborating with Nutritional and Marketing Teams to promote products.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree or equivalent in Nutrition, Pharmaceutical or Clinical Science
  • Ability to interpret the impact of supplementation on the human form
  • Experience with study design and research
  • Strong ability to conduct and interpret nutrition and health-related research
  • Capability to analyse user data to drive continuous improvement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with healthcare professionals, participants, and other stakeholders
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address technical and user experience challenges
  • Adaptability in finding innovative solutions to enhance app functionality and user engagement
  • Understanding of ethical considerations in health and nutrition applications
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and staying updated with the latest advancements in nutrition, technology, and digital health
  • Ability to implement user feedback and continuously enhance app features

In return, our Client is offering a basic salary of c£30,000 per annum, (salary is negotiable and dependent on experience), plus benefits.
