Altum Consulting are pleased to be working with a renowned Housing Association who are on the search for a well rounded Data Programme Manager to lead a priority programme. The position will lead a variety of critical projects shaping corporate strategy, driving change and influencing stakeholders.

Our Client is embarking on an exciting multi-year journey, starting with a Data programme, as part of a commitment to becoming a data-driven organisation. To achieve the ambitious objectives, a Programme Manager is required to spearhead the delivery of a new data platform that will enhance service accessibility and visibility. This role is pivotal in guiding the organisation towards a single source of truth in data, maximising the use of data through insights and analytics, and driving transformational change.

What's required

  • Proven experience in delivering a data programme through the full lifecycle, encompassing both business and IT aspects.
  • Experience delivering data platforms, integration, data prioritisation and most importantly the experience to design the TOM to ensure the platform is fit for purpose.
  • Demonstrated success in influencing stakeholders at various organisational levels.
  • Matrix management experience; supporting and guiding the programme team.
  • Strong ability to analyse extensive information, swiftly discerning customer priorities, and effectively scoping programmes and projects even in ambiguous situations

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the vision, scope, and goals of the programme, ensuring clear outcomes and a defined completion.
  • Establish appropriate governance that complements existing structures, providing necessary oversight without hindering delivery, in line with corporate change governance and reporting.
  • Maintain an overarching delivery plan, monitoring it with appropriate control mechanisms.
  • Develop strategic roadmaps, offering expert guidance and project leadership. Effectively communicate, manage, and prioritise dependencies and interfaces within and between programmes.
  • Manage risks and issues, solving problems, mitigating, or escalating them to the Programme Sponsor and stakeholders as needed.
  • Design and implement an engagement and communications plan to ensure the entire business feels included in the change, incorporating stakeholder's needs into the overall change programme.
  • Clearly scope, measure, and realise benefit outcomes.
  • Implement budget control to track the financial outcomes of the programme throughout its duration.
