Bookkeeper

Your new company
This well established business in St Asaph is looking to recruit a bookkeeper for a 12 month contract .

Your new role
Your duties and responsibilities will include-
Review of purchase invoices against job orders
Processing of purchase invoices
Generation of purchase invoice payment runs
Verification of supplier bank details
Review of sales invoices against job orders
Processing of sales invoices
Processing of customer payments received in bank
Bank Reconciliations
Preparation of CIS/VAT returns using Xero software
Management of all required accruals and prepayments
Verify that transactions are recorded are recorded timely and accurately

What you'll need to succeed
In order to success you must have -

  • Proven bookkeeping experience
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
  • Good Organisational Skills and Time Keeping
  • Strong numerical and problem solving skills
  • Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good System skills including Excel

Experience with Xero Accounting Software would be beneficial
