My client is a leading provider of business process services, driven by data, technology and people. They currently have over 43,000 employees who help millions of people by delivering innovative, digitally enabled solutions to transform and simplify the connections between government and citizens, businesses and customers.

They are seeking an experienced HR & Payroll Team Leader to join the team with immediate effect. The role is remote but will include some visits to the office which is based in Cumbria.

Key requirements

  • CIPP Qualification is a bonus.
  • Proven experience within payroll service provision
  • Experience of a wide customer base and high volume of transactions
  • Experience of the Education Sector is desirable
  • Experience of using iTrent and/or Oracle Service Cloud is desirable
  • Performance Manage a Team providing HR & Payroll services to a range of Customers
  • Plan and organise tasks in line with deadlines remaining accountable for Team outcomes Respond to Customer escalations resolving matters appropriately
  • Quality assure outputs to create and communicate create best practice and eradicate issues
  • Ability to manage and motivate a Team
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Structured approach to tasks
  • Able to deliver in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Ability to embed change.
  • Excellent IT skills and good understanding of Customer Service
