  • Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum (FTC)

My client is seeking an Operations Coordinator for their events sector. This role is an 11-month maternity cover contract, ideal for individuals with experience in scheduling, administration, and overseeing online events, particularly using Zoom. If you have a passion for presenting results in clear and informative reports and want to support the delivery of exceptional events and services, we want to hear from you.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Create event agendas on the CRM system.
  • Schedule and set up Zoom meetings and webinars.
  • Set up feedback surveys and manage post-event administration tasks.
  • Administer invitations to meeting facilitators and participants.
  • Open, run, and support Zoom meetings and webinars.
  • Welcome and assist participants and introduce facilitators.
  • Generate charts from polls using Excel and update PowerPoint presentations.
  • Edit meeting recordings and manage files on the CRM.
  • Produce internal reports and summaries of weekly accomplishments and upcoming plans.
  • Undertake other duties as instructed by the Operations Manager or Chief Operating Officer.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent command of written English (A level or above).
  • Proficiency in using Zoom software for meetings and webinars.
  • Understanding of Excel for chart creation.
  • Proofreading skills and ability to work to strict deadlines.
  • Strong communication, listening, and organisational skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and pay close attention to detail.
  • Effective time management and prioritisation skills.
  • General computer literacy, including Office365 (Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc).

Nice to have:

  • Aptitude for document formatting and layout.
  • Experience with survey software (e.g., Momentive/SurveyMonkey, Microsoft Forms).
  • Knowledge of procurement practices (preferred but not essential).
  • Experience with CRM systems.
