End-User Computing (EUC) Engineer
Rate - £500 per day total to umbrella (Inside IR35)
Duration - 6 months
Location - Reigate (once a week on site)
Are you an experienced End User Computing professional with a knack for technical support and a drive to improve user experience? We're looking for a motivated EUC Engineer to join a financial services giant to play a crucial role in supporting their IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Active Directory & Group Policies: Handle AD administration and implement effective group policies.
- SCCM Application Packaging: Manage the application packaging process to ensure smooth and efficient software deployment as well as ensuring vulnerability management standards are kept.
- Disaster Recovery & OS Images: Develop and maintain OS images, contribute to disaster recovery planning, and ensure readiness for quick response.
- End-User Support: Provide end-user support and maintenance for various platforms, including OS imaging, policy management, application packaging, and mobile device management (IOS and Android).
Day-to-Day:
- Proactively address and resolve tickets from the internal system, manage requests for system access, and provide solutions for escalated incidents.
- Support both Microsoft and Apple ecosystems, including Remote Desktop, Apple Business Manager, VMware Workspace ONE MDM, VDI (preferably AWS Workspaces), Active Directory, and Group Policy administration.
- Implement and manage authentication solutions, including Okta Workforce SAML authentication.
What You Bring:
- Technical Expertise: Proven track record in 2nd/ 3rd line (EUC / Desktop) support within a service desk environment.
- Versatile Knowledge: Broad experience with end-user hardware and software support across Microsoft and Apple ecosystems.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve escalated technical issues efficiently.
- Working experience with Cloud based Identity Management services such as Okta.
