Right Now Group are working with a Medium-sized Freight Forwarder based in Colnbrook who are looking to expand their Commercial Unit! They would like to bring aboard a new Air Freight Focused Business Development Manager.
The ideal candidate will have a previous successful track record of winning new Air, Sea and Road Freight Business.
Responsibilities of a Business Development Manager:
- Maintain and develop key accounts for Air Imports / Exports, you will also be able to pick up road freight and sea freight business too.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the company's market share in Air, Road and Sea Freight.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels such as networking, industry events, cold calling, online research and oversea conferences.
- work closely with internal teams such as operations, customer service, and finance to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities to upsell additional services and cross sell other modes of freight to existing clients.
Experience required for this Business Development Manager Role:
- Minimum 2 year's experience in sales for a Freight Forwarder.
- Air Freight Client base is preferred
- Full driving licence is required
- Will need to regularly commute to Luton (Head office) This could possibly be Once / Twice per week.
Location: Colnbrook (1-2 days p/w)
Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 (Experience Dependant) + Commission
Shift: Mon-Fri 8.30am - 5pm
