Compliance Assistant

We are looking for a multi skilled person to join a busy payroll company based on Medway City Estate, Rochester.

This person must be able to work to deadlines and have impeccable customer service skills. We are keen to work with someone who has industry experience, but it isn't essential.

Responsibilities:

  • This person will ensure that our business, employees, and projects all comply with most recent regulatory standards.
  • Monitor regulatory changes.
  • Send out compliance packs to our clients.
  • Spot checks/ audits on current client
  • On-boarding candidates onto our payroll platform
  • Use of our employee benefits system
  • Use of our payroll software
  • Reports for senior management
  • Dealing with customer queries
  • Use of our payroll systems to input data.
  • Sending and producing contracts
  • Dealing with our professional bodies

Possible Extra Responsibilities:

This person will use multiple payroll systems and deal with clients and consumers every day.

Assisting the payroll department in processing payroll and accounts in an accurate and timely manner.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience within a financial role.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Word.
  • Experience in accounting packages such as SAGE 50.
  • Ability to work for a diverse range of companies.
  • Highly organised with the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Polite mannered.
  • Enthusiasm to problem solve and learn new skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Customer focused.

Hours of Work: Monday-Friday 9-17:30 pm
