Technical Sales Administrator

Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be supporting OsecoElfab, a global manufacturer of customised rupture discs and explosion vents with their search for a Technical Sales Administrator.

Overall Purpose:

  • Provide timely and accurate order entry information to appropriate OsecoElfab departments to ensure customer satisfaction with regards to required product and delivery specifications.
  • Direct interaction with new and existing customers and representatives through inbound and outbound calls to ensure quality customer service by providing technical information, pricing, and availability.

Key Duties:

  • Input orders to the ERP (Dynamics 365) system in a timely manner.
  • Dealing with customer emails and calls facilitating sales order processing.
  • Resolve customer and representative issues with stuck orders.
  • Ensure that purchase orders received are correct and match any quotation sent.
  • Handling inbound customer and representative sales calls.
  • Liaise with customers and the finance department to obtain required missing information to process orders.
  • Basic RMA/Handoff and customer complaint administration.
  • Order inbox triage.
  • New customer set up.
  • Use of the Part Configurator.
  • Liaise across internal departments to ensure customers' needs are met.
  • Support the external sales function.
  • Support the wider team functions and carry out other tasks where required.
  • Improve processes to increase operational excellence within the Technical Sales arena.
  • Act as liaison between customers and other OsecoElfab departments, ensuring accurate and timely relay of information to achieve and maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction.

  • Positive and enthusiastic with effective interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and projects.
  • Appetite for continuous learning/improvement.
  • Clear, articulate communication skills both oral and written, including telephone manner.
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
  • Team player who can work cross-functionally and at different levels across the organisation.
  • Desirable but not essential - knowledge of a CRM system and business system e.g. SAP, Epicor, Oracle, Dynamics 365.
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service to all stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Experience of working with IT systems.
  • Experience of customer focused activities.

The Package:

  • £26,000 - £28,000 per annum.
  • Day shift role, Monday-Friday(Office based).
