Looking for a driving role with structure, variety – and no constant multi-drop pressure? M4 Specialist is recruiting a Class 2 Driver for a well-established client in Normanton, offering full-time, steady hours and the chance to be part of a friendly, professional team.
?? What's on Offer:
- Monday to Friday – No weekends!
- 40 hours per week – Stable full-time work
- Mostly driving 3.5T and 3.9T vehicles (occasional 5T or 12T)
- NO multi-drops
- Occasional overnight stays – all expenses paid (hotel & food)

??? Role Overview:
You'll be responsible for delivering and collecting units (site equipment) from various locations across the UK. It's a customer-facing role, so a polite, helpful attitude is a must. You'll inspect units, record details on a tablet device, and ensure a smooth handover at each location.
?? Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out vehicle and unit inspections, recording condition and photos on a tablet
- Deliver and collect units, completing full handover process with customers
- Report any damages, shortages or issues clearly and accurately
- Maintain a clean, roadworthy vehicle and report any defects promptly
- Adhere to driving laws, tachograph rules, and company H&S policies
- Liaise with customers, hire desk staff, and depot teams in a professional manner
- Follow company procedures and standards at all times
? Requirements:
- Class 2 Licence (with up-to-date CPC & Digi Tacho)
- At least 2 years' UK driving experience
- Comfortable using handheld tablets for documentation
- Good route planning and communication skills
- Polite, well-presented, and detail-focused
- Willing to do early starts and the occasional overnight stay
