Project Support Officer

We are delighted to be recruiting a fixed-term opportunity for a Project Support Officer to provide support for our client and their Executive and Operations teams.

This role is offered on a fixed-term contract of 9 months (with the possibility of extension up to 12 months) to cover a period of Maternity Leave.

Overview of the role

This role sits within the Programme Management Office (PMO) with the time split between supporting the Executive Leadership Team and the Operational function, ensuring that the business runs effectively and efficiently.

The successful postholder will be flexible and focussed, approachable, professional and resourceful, with high levels of self-motivation and a can-do attitude to support the needs of an evolving business. This is a supportive role, working as part of a busy team who adopt a one team ethos to their work.

Salary: Starting from £30,279 per annum (dependent on experience)

Hours of Work: 37.5 per week (Monday-Friday)

Contract Type and Duration: Fixed Term - Maternity cover. Secondments will be considered.

Place of Work: Hybrid Working options with an expectation of a minimum of 4-5 days per month onsite.

Reporting Into: Associate Director - Programme Management Office

Ideally, you will be educated to (or working towards) degree level in a business, IT, Health or science related subject or can demonstrate equivalent experience of working in these areas. You will have a good understanding and experience of working in a project management office environment. A good working knowledge of the NHS, Higher Education and the healthcare sector would also be useful.
