We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Account Handler to join our team in Henley-on-Thames. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in insurance brokerage, who is adept at managing and renewing client accounts, and who excels in delivering exceptional customer service.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage and renew a portfolio of commercial client accounts, ensuring their insurance needs are met with the highest level of service.
- Act as the first point of contact for client inquiries, providing prompt and accurate responses.
- Oversee the administration of insurance portfolios, ensuring all client data is up-to-date and accurately recorded.
- Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate terms and premiums on behalf of clients.
- Identify opportunities to enhance client coverage and provide expert advice on insurance products and services.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of market trends and regulatory changes to provide informed recommendations to clients.
- Work closely with the team to ensure a cohesive approach to account management and customer service.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in renewals, customer service, and account management within the insurance sector.
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies, market practices, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in relevant software and computer systems.
- Relevant industry certifications or qualifications are highly desirable.
