About The Role

1.2 Overall Purpose ofthe Role
To work as a team, responsible for the efficient and timely preparation of quality service.
To assist in clearing of meals and beverages for client company employees and guests.
To maintain a high quality of hygiene standards at all times.
Health & Safety Purpose: To take a direct interest in the health and safety of yourself and others who may be affected by your work activities.

1.3 Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role
1.3.a Maintain contract health & safety, and hygiene standardsin line with current legislation
1.3.b Ensure that due diligence records are completed and maintained.
1.3.c Adhere to company policy on dealing with customer comments.
1.3.d To comply with company and client polices and procedures.
1.3.e Ensure that customers receive a prompt and courteousservice at all times.
1.3.f Ensure personal apperance, including uniform are of the highest standards at all times in line with company policy.
1.3.g To work in all areas across the site including catering outlets, kitchens and Costa Kiosks as requested by the General Manager and Head chef
1.5 Details ofthe Role
1.5.a To ensure that all clients and customers and dealt with promptly and courteously according to company standards.
1.5.b Prepare counter to the standard laid out by the management.
1.5.c Serve all food and beverages at the specified times and in the appropriate quantities.
1.5.d Ensure sound knowledge of the food served daily together with the portion size.
1.5.e Ensure tables, chairs, trolleys and floors are kept clean and tidy at all times.
1.5.f Assist with the washing up of light equipment.
1.5.g Assist in the preparation of food
1.5.h Clean all areas of food preparation and service using the nominated cleaning schedules
1.5.i Ensure that floor and wallsurfaces are kept clean to the prescribed height.
1.5.j Maintain full compliance with ISO9002 & ISO14001 requirement for which you have responsibility
1.5.k To perform any other duty which may be reasonably required by your line manager or the company

2.1 Educational Level
1. Educated to GCSE level or equivilent.
2.2 Professional Qualifications
1. Basic food hygeine. A knowledge of health and safety.
2.3 Experience
1. Previous experience in a similar role.
2.4 Personal Characteristics/Attributes for the role
1. A good team player.
2. The ability to work using their own imitative.
2.5 Personal Characteristics/Attributes for the health & safety aspects of the role
