Reed HR are currently recruiting for a HR & Payroll Officer to join our client during a busy period of change.
The role:
I'm looking for a HR & Payroll Officer to join our clients team on a permanent basis.
I'm looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual with good attention to detail and excellent communication skills. This position is suitable for a self-motivated individual who can work in a methodical manner and has worked across HR and Payroll.
Responsibilities:
- To give a high-quality service to support line managers and employees and provide backup to the HR Manager and admin team
- Be first point of contact on employee relations, including managing absence and assisting with disciplinary matters, grievances and other employee matters
- Provide advice on company benefits, policies and procedures
- Ensure payroll information is input correctly
- Assisting the team with compliance and preemployment checks
- Issue contracts of employment, contractual amendment letters and other correspondence
- Work with the HR Managers to update policies/ documents as guided
- Employee correspondence and responding to employee queries in a timely manner
- Liaise with payroll provider and manager relationship
- Maintain personal files in a confidential manner
- Work with the HR Manager and HR Officer to ensure that pay is processed on time, accurately and in compliance with government regulations
- Process all timesheets and amendments to contract on a monthly basis
- Administer third party deductions and other deductions from earnings
- Assist in the processing of the monthly PAYE payroll
- Pensions administration & queries
- Deal with payroll queries
Hours: 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday Must work a Friday if 4 days a week
