Title: Compliance Officer
Salary: £40,000 plus incredible benefits
Location Hatfield
Hours: 9.00 to 5.00 Monday to Friday (1-2 days wfh)

Purpose of the role:
- To assist with the day to day running of the Compliance Department and to help communicate, maintain and monitor the on-going compliance activities within the business ensuring all regulatory requirements are fulfilled, documented and communicated in a professional and supportive manner.
Day to Day responsibilities:
- Oversee department in Managers absence with 1 direct report
- Work in collaboration with Business Units to enhance compliance and strengthen business processes
- Support building Continuity Plan and improve current processes
- Manage the updating of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) documentation
- Conducting interviews and surveys to ensure that employees are compliant with regulations across the company's various departments
- Conducting investigations to discover the root cause of compliance problems when they arise
- Educating employees and partners through documentations and brochures on how to improve compliance
- Examining and improving auditing processes to resolve compliance issues fast or prevent them entirely
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong legal compliance experience and understanding auditing
- Understanding of the importance of business controls & legal compliance
- Inquisitive nature, question and investigate
- Friendly, personable with the ability to build strong relationships
- Thorough, Strong attention to detail, work with precision
