The Role
As the Group Finance Director, you will be responsible for making long-term decisions to ensure the financial health and stability of iamproperty. Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, you will oversee the company budget, analyse department finances, and act as a key point of contact for external stakeholders such as legal support, banking relationships, investors, and insurance brokers. You will lead a team of finance professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This is a broad role, covering financial planning, reporting, compliance, stakeholder management, and supporting M&A activities.
The Person
Open to a variety of backgrounds, however candidates must possess significant experience post qualification. Expecting a proven track record in managing complex financial models, prior exposure to financial due diligence would be advantageous also. Experience in a private equity-backed business as well as familiarity with investor reporting, growth drivers, and investment/exit cycles would be useful. Suitable candidates will excel in establishing robust controls, processes, and systems, and have a keen eye for detail. A strategic mind is essential, as is strong communication skills. This person will credible with a variety of stakeholders - able to advise and steer executive teams as well as inspire an ambitious and driven finance function.
