The Role:
Are you a reliable driver with a passion for customer service? Do you enjoy being on the road and meeting new people? We are looking for dedicated multi-drop Van Drivers to join our team in Basingstoke.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary starting at £13.09 per hour.
- Overtime available at £19.63 per hour (paid after 48h weekly).
- Ongoing shifts.
- Shift duration: 10-12 hours per day.
- Full 'on the job' training provided.
- Opportunity for permanent employment after the initial temp period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct multi-drop deliveries of home furnishings to customers' homes.
- Perform vehicle safety checks before starting your route.
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing excellent service.
- Collaborate with your crew to handle heavy lifting as needed.
- Must be able to work weekends.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving License - clean (up to 6 points allowed for speeding only).
- Must be 21 years or older for insurance purposes.
- Ability to complete a theory and driving assessment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
