My client is a dynamic and growing property consultancy, specialising in providing land, planning, and property advise across a range of sectors. Due to a strong pipeline of work, their Birmingham based team is now seeking the addition of an ambitious and experienced Town Planner.

The current Planning team provide planning guidance and support on a variety of residential, commercial, and renewable energy projects amongst other schemes. These range from the new settlements and large-scale employment developments to more complex single dwelling schemes.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and delivering a range of planning projects, providing expert advice to clients, and contributing to the growth and success of the team. This role requires a strong understanding of the planning system, excellent project management skills, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline, ideally a postgraduate qualification.
  • Chartered membership of the RTPI or eligibility for membership.
  • Demonstratable previous experience, either public or private sector considered, and experience in managing mixed and commercial residential projects desirable.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
