Executive Assistant / Office Manager
Working for a vibrant and expanding business in Manchester, we are seeking an experienced EA/Office Manager to join their team. This is a role for someone naturally positive, super friendly and proactive with amazing people skills. You'll be the 'goto' person in the office for most things, whilst also supporting a busy and charismatic MD day to day.
Location: 3 days Manchester office, 2 days home
Salary: Up to £40k
Benefits: 27 days holiday, pension, plus much more
Hours: Full-time, permanent. Monday to Friday 9-5.30pm (some flexibility required)
What you'll be doing
- Working closely with the MD to support them day to day with diary management, meeting organisation, travel and accommodation booking
- Dealing with client enquiries on behalf of MD, acting as the first line of response
- Handling general office enquiries, meeting and greeting visitors and clients
- Be the 'goto' in the office for employees with queries
- General office management - organising supplies, booking meeting rooms, administration
- Taking minutes in meetings and circulating
- Coordinating recruitment by working with Managers within the business, advertising, arranging interviews and supporting with offer management, reference taking and onboarding
- Managing office facilities
- Event organisation - company wide events as well as client events
What we're looking for
- Someone with previous EA/Office Management experience
- Highly organised and proactive, always one step ahead
- Positive attitude, warm and friendly - even when under pressure
- Able to adapt to last minute changes and stay calm and measured
- Excellent attention to detail
- Enjoys a busy, challenging yet super rewarding role
- Able to work with confidential and sensitive data professionally
- Flexible to work outside of 'normal' office hours when required
