Our client, a leader in their specialist field is currently seeking a highly competent and technically savvy RF Installation Engineer/ Tower Climber to join their expanding business paying between £40,000 and £50,000 per annum. They work on a wide range of military and commercial antenna projects including the instillation, maintaining, upgrading, monitoring and repairing of them across the UK, Europe and US.
On a day to day basis you will be working in a small team across a wide and varied list of projects, including IT infrastructure, fibre optic cabling, Radio Frequency (RF) communication networks and their associated equipment. The role will require travel throughout the UK with some work being overseas with work usually Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm.
Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate previous experience of installing antennas and cabling associated with data and RF communication networks. You should also have experience of carrying out Risk Assessments and Method Statements and have strong communication skills having worked in a similar environment previously.
Ideal candidates also will:
- Have in date rigging qualifications
- Poses Project Management skills
- Be able and willing to work at height up to 15 metres
- Have in date basic qualifications such as, but not limited to PASMA/EUS/ECS/ESUR/IPAF etc
- Be SC Cleared or be willing to take a Security Check
