Recruitment Partner

Posted by B&M Retail.

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Recruitment Partner to join our in-house recruitment team, based full time at our Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool.

This is a 360-role, recruiting for a wide range of positions. As the Recruitment Partner, you will take the lead on the recruitment of all head office vacancies, from an initial brief with the hiring manager, to the offer and on-board stage with successful candidates. Working closely with key stakeholders in multiple functions, you'll ensure that B&M attract, select, and retain the best for our fast-paced business.

We are looking for an experienced Recruiter, who is organised, proactive and has a proven track record of successfully filling senior positions. Using either your in-house or agency background, you'll be passionate about creating and delivering a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

The Recruitment Partner role involves:

  • Collaborating with hiring managers to establish the requirements for the role, create job posts and implement the attraction strategy.
  • Proactively resourcing using a variety of search methods including head hunting via LinkedIn and CV databases to identify talent.
  • Facilitating the recruitment process, telephone screening, shortlisting, scheduling interviews, and providing candidate feedback.
  • Providing expertise and coaching to hiring managers to ensure a consistent and fair selection process.
  • Using data and insight to evaluate resourcing effectiveness and recommend improvements and solutions that are effective, and evidence based.
  • Developing and implementing talent pipelines across assigned business areas.
  • Engaging with recruitment agencies, acting as the liaison between them and the hiring manager (on rare occasions, we don't recruit directly).

The key requirements and skills for the role are:

  • Previous experience in a recruitment partnering role, either in-house or agency.
  • Full working knowledge of the end-to-end recruitment life cycle, including on-boarding.
  • Confident and credible, able to build relationships at all levels.
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Microsoft office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise and react to change.
  • Results focused and able to work to tight deadlines.

If this role excites you and you think you've got what it takes, we want to hear from you!
