Laboratory Technician
- Full-time and permanent role

Reed Scientific are partnering with a leading connectivity solutions designer and manufacturer who are looking for a Laboratory Technician with physics and ideally plastics background to support the R&D team and work alongside cross functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Testing equipment maintenance
- Preparing samples for mechanical and environmental testing
- Development of test procedures and setting up tests in accordance with international and internal standards
- Recording test results and writing reports for cross functional teams
- Providing technical support to NPD projects
- Liaising with third parties regarding outsourced testing
- Auditing performance of finished products
The candidate:
- Educated to minimum bachelor's degree in physics or similar, and ideally a background in plastics (either academic or work experience)
- Manufacturing industry and test laboratory experience would be an advantage
- Has the full right to work in the UK. Please note that VISA sponsorship is not offered for this role.
- Driving licence holder, due to the site location
