We are seeking an experienced Electronic Technician to join a dynamic team in Aberdeen. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics, with experience in assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic systems and components.
**The role
- Assemble, install, and maintain electronic systems and components
- Maintain detailed records of tests, repairs, and maintenance performed. Update and maintain technical documentation, schematics, and diagrams.
- Perform testing and calibration of electronic systems and components to ensure they meet required standards and specifications.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in electronic circuits and systems, using appropriate tools and techniques to identify and repair issues.
- Perform wiring for electronic assemblies and final products
- Work closely with design engineers to provide feedback on design improvements and suggest modifications to enhance product reliability.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards, industry regulations and company policies.
The Person
- Strong experience in electronics assembly, testing and troubleshooting.
- Experience with electronic assembly, wiring, and mechanical assembly techniques.
- SMD / PTH soldering and reworking experience
- Experience with electronic test equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot to component level.
- Able to travel internationally for the installation and maintenance of equipment
