Our client, a growing multidisciplinary design and build consultancy based in the picturesque town of Chichester, is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join their innovative team. With a rich portfolio of projects spanning various sectors within the construction and design industry, they pride themselves on delivering innovative solutions and exceptional client service. As an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team, you will collaborate with Architects, Building Surveyors, Project Managers, Mechanical Engineers and Electrical Engineers to create detailed drawings and construction documentation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare construction details for projects, buildings, elements, or components in line with current building practice and regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop detailed architectural drawings and plans, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Work with the architectural team to develop schemes for clients through all RIBA work stages.
- Review works in production and assist with dealing with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Clearly communicate proposed solutions to all design team members and client teams.
Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture with courses that are RIBA Part 2 accredited.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and passionate about learning new skills in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
- Communicative, curious, collaborative, and a conceptual thinker.
- Experience with software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
- Familiarity with UK building regulations and construction standards.
- Full UK driving licence.
